Cuddly Koalas 3 months - 2 Years
Welcome to the Cuddly Koalas! This room is to provide care for children aged from 3 months to 2 yrs. The room is designed to be adapted to suit the needs of individual children.
Our daily routine consists of greeting time, small group time, choice time, snack time outside time, nappy changing and large group time.
During the session we plan various activities focusing on the high-scope infant/toddler key experiences and the early years foundation stages.(EYFS)
Each child has their own key worker who plans activities to suit the needs of each child during small group time. Each key worker also observes the children by writing anecdotal notes.
Each child takes home a daily record sheet this explains what your child has been doing at nursery and if we need you to bring in nappies/wipes etc.
Each child has a journal which they will take home either when they leave the nursery or when they go to school, just like "This is your LIfe".
We only ever have a maximum of seven children in this area with three members of staff.
