Purpose of the job:
We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Qualified Early Years Educator to work with children aged from 3 months to 9 years, preferably hold a first aid in pediatric, if this has expired training will be required to obtain this, essential knowledge of safeguarding, firm knowledge of the early years foundation stages (EYFS), work as a team player, able to plan activities and to write up observations inline with the EYFS curriculm for each indivual key child, to be able to communicte and give feedback to parents.
Essential Criteria:
- Must have a minium of 6 months to 1 year’s work experience in early years setting
- Must hold a qualifcation of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent In Childcare and Education
- Ability to plan and implement the EYFS and development matters.
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to speak good English
- Ability to communicate with parents/carers
- Ability to communicate with fellow team members
- Ability to write up clear reports of the children and to liase with other professionals if required (integrated working)
- To be able to plan for children with additional needs
- Work with families with additional needs i.e., other agencies involved, attend meetings such as team around a child, team around family, child in need or another other meeting that is required.

- Must have an enhanced disclosure and barring service check (DBS) if you are not on the update system, you will redo your DBS to enable you to work at little learners day care at your expence.
